PERHAPS YOU ARE HERE BECAUSE…
01
You feel overwhelmed.
Life looks manageable from the outside, but inside it feels very different.
You have spent so long meeting the expectations of work, family or others that you are unsure what you need.
You have lost some sense of yourself.
02
Something keeps repeating.
03
The same relationship patterns, thoughts or feelings seem to keep returning.
A relationship, career, family or life transition has left you questioning what comes next.
04
You are navigating change.
Nothing is obviously wrong.
05
But life does not feel quite right either.
Start with a 20-minute conversation - A place to step away.
How would you like to feel instead?
Understand yourself
Recognise patterns, emotions and experiences that may be shaping how you think, feel and respond.
Find some space
Step away from the noise and expectations of everyday life and have somewhere that is entirely yours.
Move forward differently
Develop greater clarity, confidence and freedom in the choices you make.
Therapy Shaped Around You
Therapy can take different forms, and our work together can be shaped around you, your experiences and what feels most helpful.
Integrative counselling allows me to draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on you, what you are experiencing and what we discover together.
Some sessions may involve exploring your past. Others may focus on what is happening now. Sometimes the most valuable thing is simply having the space to say something aloud that you have never been able to say before.
Personal. Thoughtful. Collaborative.
Personal
Tailored to you and your story
Thoughtful
A calm, considered and flexible approach
Collaborative
A space to explore together, at a pace that feels right
A space away from everything else.
Loughton | Online
Therapy asks you to step away from everyday demands for a while. Abode Remedy Counselling has been created as a calm, private and considered space in which you can do exactly that.
“Not a pause from life, but a better way to meet it”
Abode Remedy
“I believe good therapy begins with feeling genuinely heard rather than analysed, judged or told what to do. My role is to create the conditions in which we can understand what's happening together at a pace that feels right for you.”

Questions
-
Not at all. You may simply have a sense that something does not feel quite right, or that you would like things to be different.
You do not need a diagnosis, a clear explanation or even know where to begin. Part of our work together can be making sense of what you are experiencing and understanding what you might need.
-
That is absolutely fine and more common than you might imagine.
You don’t need to arrive with a story prepared or know how to put everything into words. Sometimes knowing that something feels difficult is enough of a place to begin.
We can find our way into the conversation together.
-
Finding the right counsellor is important. Qualifications and experience matter, but so does how you feel when you are talking to someone.
That is why I offer an initial conversation before we begin. It gives you an opportunity to tell me a little about what has brought you here, ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
There is no obligation to continue afterwards
-
There is not one answer that applies to everyone.
Some people come to counselling to work through something specific over a shorter period, while others value having more time to explore deeper patterns and experiences.
We can regularly reflect on how the work is feeling and whether it continues to be useful. You remain part of that decision throughout.
-
Yes. What you share in counselling is treated with confidentiality and care.
There are some specific circumstances in which confidentiality may need to be broken, particularly where there is a serious concern about safety or where disclosure is required by law. I will explain confidentiality and its limits clearly before we begin working together, so you know exactly what to expect.
-
Our regular counselling sessions last 50 minutes. These are typically held weekly or fortnightly as this consistency often leads to the best outcomes. However, I'm happy to discuss a schedule that works best for you.
-
50 minute sessions are £65.
-
Both.
In-person sessions take place in Loughton.
I also offer online sessions, giving you the flexibility to access counselling from your own space. We can discuss which way of working feels most suitable for you
-
Counselling often gives us space to understand what you are feeling, explore past and present experiences and recognise patterns that may be affecting you now.
Coaching tends to be more focused on where you want to go next helping you gain clarity, make decisions and take purposeful steps forward.
There can be some overlap. You don’t need to decide which you need before contacting me. We can talk about what is happening for you and decide together which approach feels most appropriate.
